Sergio #19 goes against Kevin Hidalgo #10 from Parkrose. The Wildcats ended up winning 2-1.

Despite the slow start, the Wilsonville soccer boys ended up winning their game against Parkrose.

The first half was a lot of back and forth. Lots of cards were given out during the game for foul play. Nearly 6 yellow cards and a red one. The Broncos scored once in the first half off of a penalty kick, with the Cats getting two goals in the second.

Our first goal was scored by Joseph Friedman. The second goal after some more foul play from the Broncos was a free-kick. After the goal, Friedman and the team took a victory walk to celebrate.

The last 20 minutes of the game was more back and forth on the field. More cards were called, and elbows were thrown. Specifically, player #10 from the Broncos was very aggressive during play.

The student section filled slowly, but steadily at the end of the game and brought the Cat’s energy up to allow them to finish the game strong.
