Andie Case: Math teacher

Andie Case is excited to start her first year teaching here at Wilsonville High School. She has spent the past few years student teaching and is thrilled to be teaching math this year.

Case just moved here from the east coast, and felt that Wilsonville High School would be the best fit for her first year of teaching. She easily got along with the principal and other staff members and found that Wilsonville is a place where she could thrive.

When asked why she chose Wilsonville, Ms. Case said, “There is a lot of freedom for teachers and I wanted to teach in a specific way… I felt like I would be able to do that here.”

She is looking forward to connecting with each of her students individually and getting to know their learning styles. Alongside her students, Case is learning more and more about her own teaching style each day.

This year, Ms. Case is most looking forward to “getting better at practice and learning what will work for [her] and what won’t.” She wants to shape her teaching style into something that will work in helping both her and her students thrive.
