Mark your calendars for a busy January!

While 2018 seems distant, the new year is just a winter break away. As the new year is fast approaching, schedules can get hectic and events may sneak up quickly. This quick overview of 2018 is sure to help you keep upcoming events in order.

 

Back to School: January 3, 2018

Since New Years Day is on a Monday, the teachers will come back to school on a Tuesday. This means that students will come back to school the following Wednesday and have a short first week back at school.

 

Springfest Interviews: January 10, 2018

Any senior who is interested in being a part of the 2018 Springfest Court should start working on their applicaations.

 

MLK Day (Non-Contract School Day): January 15, 2018

There will be no school this Monday. School will resume on Tuesday.

 

Online Voting for Springfest: January 16-17, 2018

Students can vote for who they want to be on Springfest Court for 2018.

 

Early Release Day: January 17, 2018

This is the first early release day of the new year, and the collaborative period will be period 3.

 

Springfest Court Announced: January 18, 2018

The 2018 Springfest Court is announced. Practices will begin soon after for the performance on April 27th.

 

Finals: January 24-26, 2018

Finals for periods 1 and 2 will be on the 24th, periods 3 and 4 will be on the 25th and periods 5 and 6 on the 26th.

 

Winter Formal: January 27, 2018

Event will be held in the aux gym at 7pm. The event will go until 10:30pm. The entrance fee is $5.

Certified Work Day (No School): January 29, 2018

There is no school on the Monday after finals. The start of the new semester will begin with a day of rest for students!
