The boys had their first game on Friday where they faced off against North Eugene. This was their first competitive game of the season and they started it strong. They conquered the 5A-2 midwestern league team by beating them 45-36. Their win again North Eugene allowed the boys to advance. Next up was Baker, a team who won their first game 69-33 against Crescent Valley.

Wilsonville’s’ game against Baker was close, but they were able to stay composed and walked away with another win. Finally, the boys took on a new 5A addition, Woodburn in the WIL championship game. The boys kept the control of the game, and ended the tournament as champions with a final score of 50-34.
