As the season is coming to an end, the chances for a playoff spot are looking good for the young Wilsonville Girls Basketball squad. With a record of 17-3 so far this season, they are currently ranked in the  top eight in the state. Justin Duke, head coach, took the ropes of this program just three short years back with hope to build a state championship caliber team. There have been tremendous improvements over his short tenure, not only with his team specifically, but he is also working to build a well known program.

Jessica Classen, the one and only senior and four year varsity player, will hopefully leave this team on a very positive note. With only four league games left, the upcoming game against the LaSalle Falcons could potentially be a season changer. On February 16th, on LaSalle’s Brick Oven Court, the Wildcats will face the Falcons to potentially tie for first place in league play. Wilsonville is hoping to snatch the win to upset the Falcons after winning three consecutive NWOC League titles.
