Kenley Whittaker, currently enrolled as a junior at WVHS, has proven on numerous occasions that her ability to successfully comprehend several AP classes, as well as her athletic involvement, exceeds the expectations of many. Whittaker’s relentless skill is an adequate representation of a well balanced high school career.

Whittakers schedule reflects variety, as well as a potential challenge, as most of them are AP level classes. She is enrolled in AP Macroeconomics, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics Mechanics C, AP English Language, and Spanish 4. Her schedule is an accurate reflection of the continuous effort she puts into school.

Outside of school, Whittaker partakes in primarily physical activities, including “skiing, swimming, hiking, and watching premiere league soccer.” The team she favors most is “Chelsea for both men and women.” Her hobbies and school activities encompass her admirability towards sports.

Like most high school students, Whittaker more casual hobbies are existent among the possibly daunting schedule, She expressed her love for listening to “2010’s throwbacks,” and having an affinity for “the Harry Potter series,” claiming she always found pleasure in the series.

Aside from physical activities, Whittakers preferred recovery meal is “pasta,” saying its her favorite food, and she doesn’t have a particular gravitation to any pasta, because she adores “all types of pasta.” Having a go-to meal post physical work, is key to earning endurance.

For entertainment, Whittaker indulges in all Disney princess franchises. Whittaker is happy to make room for movies and a little taste of nostalgia from her childhood.

The reality of being an exceeding student and athlete are not as they may seem. In fact Kenley Whittaker balances the “typical” regime of a high school student, but also maintains a strong connection with the high school, and keeps up her work in athletics.
