Cydney gutridge, a captain for the girl’s basketball team, is gearing up to play in the playoff game against Crater High School.  The Wildcats are ranked #7 and the Comets are ranked #10.  She has played basketball since she can remember, “Since my freshman year I have wanted to make it to Gill Coliseum, and now this can actually be a reality.”  The girl’s record is 21-5.  Cydney plans on playing basketball at the next level in college.  Her dream college would be somewhere in California.  To get ready for the game Cydney puts a lucky penny in her right shoe and listens to music.  She uses warm-up time to get focused.  Her number is 22, and she is a junior point guard.  Her goal for next year is to win the State Championship
