Can they build it? Yes, they can!

The set for comes Legally Blonde comes together!

The cast, crew, and adult helpers from Wilsonville’s Theatre Department spent Saturday the 15th building the set that will be used in their fall production of Legally Blonde.

The cast, crew, and many others get together on Saturdays leading up until the shows opening so that they can create every set piece used for the show. Set builds are a requirement for students o participate in a production, because without the set build days there would be no show.

So much goes into making set build day a success:  a lot of physically building the set pieces, a lot of painting, and a whole lot of organizing to make sure the run of the show goes smoothly.

The show’s Stage Manager, Senior Mackenzie Bodyfelt had this to say about set build day, “I love seeing the set come together before my eyes in a matter of days. Of course none of that is possible without the amazing adult helpers as well!”

Set build a are a good way for the cast and crew to get to know each other before the show opens, as well as for students to get to know the adult helpers take time out of their days to bring the show together.
