Seniors last hurrah

Student Council has been working extra hard for the last month on perfecting the homecoming floats for this year’s theme of children’s books. The books that have been chosen are: The Three Little Pigs, Where’s Waldo, Alice in Wonderland, and Dr. Seuss. I got a chance to sit down with senior student council member, Isaac Boger, about this year’s theme of Dr. Seuss and who he thinks is their biggest competition.

AB: How is the float coming along in your opinion?

IB: It’s the work of Michelangelo.

AB: What’s your favorite part of the float?

IB: Getting the opportunity to hang out with my girlies!

AB: Since this year your last for the homecoming floats, what are your hopes for the future classes for homecoming floats?

IB: I hope they live up to our amazing legacy.

AB: Who are the seniors biggest competition?

IB: Surprisingly, the freshman.

This year’s freshman class, student council CEO is Chloe Nelson. It is no surprise that she takes this position as her sister, Ali Nelson, is the senior student council leader as well. The freshman have been given the theme of The Three Little Pigs. Sources claim that the freshman included a 3D structure on their float which is a rarity as most freshman have no idea how to create a cohesive float. The parade is September 28th, 2018 and starts at the high school at 5pm and  will last until 7pm — be there or be square.
