Saturday, November 17, was a success for the Wilsonville pride dance team we placed 2nd place in both hip hop and contemporary. Our score was 78.53, and we were only 5.27 points away from placing first place. This competition was very competitive for hip hop as the dance team was up against some really good teams, but they didn’t let that stop them they took the competition and turned it into fuel to do better. They worked very hard and all put their hearts on the floor to achieve what they wanted. It was because of this that they qualified for the category of champs which takes place on Saturday, December 1. They will then take this routine to the next level, as this is the routine they are taking to nationals.
