Outside of school, many students do extracurricular activities. Some students at Wilsonville High School associate themselves at Innovative Dance. Innovative Dance is owned by the amazing, Molly Kaleikilo. She has been running the dance studio for 22 years and is planning on many more. Innovative Dance provides a fun learning environment for ages starting at  3+. All the staff love what they do and provide each student with the best possible training in Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Ballet, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. I interviewed Molly Kaleikilo to get more details about what Innovative is all about.

One of the first questions for Molly was, “How do you think students apply things they learn at Innovative Dance to their everyday lives?” She responded right away saying that “Innovative Dance teaches kids to be hard workers, determined, patient, and sportsmanship”. She added,  “Dance lessons are Life Lessons”- Joe Tremaine.(Joe Tremaine is a well known man and many people admire him) She continued to say that, “There are no fast way to improve or get it now. There are no shortcuts. All of this can be used in all aspects of life. School, jobs, Family life, and relationships” There is no limit to what dance gives.

The second question asked was, “What advice would you give to students that want to learn to dance but are nervous to try?” She responded saying that you can try it out with a friend and give it a chance. You’ll never know if you like it if you just don’t try.
