Senior transfer students

Being a senior is supposed to be this glorious, fabulous, amazing, year that you get to do whatever you are interested in and finally lose a decent amount school stress. But for those new senior students there is just a little bit more of that stress brought back by suddenly running into the stress of making new friends again. I really understand how it feels to not be seen so I decided to interview 3 new senior students and get to know them a little better for me and for you all.

Meet Jacob Robertson. He transferred here from Salem Academy. His favorite things to do outside of school are playing football, running track, playing video games, reading, going kayaking, and hanging out with friends. He has a younger sister. His favorite class here at the school is marine biology. His first impression of the school was that he likes his teachers alot and everyone was overall pretty nice and he likes his teammates a lot. His thoughts on the school spirit at the school is said to be pretty great as of what he’s seen and he enjoyed the support of students at the first football game. I asked him after a long day of school and homework what is the thing he wants to do afterwards and he said sleep and I completely agree.

Next, meet Brenna Bantisa. She moved from Columbia to Portland and now here to Wilsonville. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time is dance. She has an older sister and younger brother. Her first impression of people at the school were that they were very nice and accepting. She said her old schools had a lot more connection between the students and they did more activities together as classes. Her favorite things to do on the weekend is hang with her sister and work her job at starbucks.

Last but not least meet Felicia Recard. She moved here from Salem, Utah. Which is crazy because I myself moved from Woods Cross, Utah. Her favorite things to do outside of school are playing volleyball, listening and analyzing music, and being outdoors. She has 2 younger sisters. Her favorite class here is music history because of her love for music. Her favorite types of music is alternative and classic rock. Her first impression of the school was that it was pretty old looking because of her old school just being recently renovated. Her favorite thing to do after her homework is done is lay in bed and talk to her friends back home. Which I can definitely relate to as well.

Think about going out and getting to know any of us. We are pretty cool, at least I think so.
