Pay-what-you-want Wednesday

Pay-what-you-want Wednesday

For months the cast and director of the Wilsonville High School Arts Department have been hard at work learning, rehearsing, and perfecting one of our childhood favorite movies, Cinderella. The day before the grand opening, the cast lets the public in for a pay-what-you-want production of the musical. Pay-what-you-want Wednesday is an opportunity for the community to donate however much money they want in exchange for a ticket the premiere of the musical.

Not only does the cast get to practice in front of a real audience, but it’s a great way to raise funds for the department.

Pay-what-you-want Wednesday was a complete success and judging by the deafening applause, the audience loved it. The costumes were a work of art and were able to be changed in the middle of the performance by turning them inside out which aided the flawless transition of setting. The singing was incredible as well and the casting of the lead roles couldn’t have been better.

For those of you who didn’t get the chance to attend pay-what-you-want Wednesday, you can still see the production. Tickets are being sold for November 7-9 and 14-16 at 7o’clock. The show is estimated to last about two hours, so you’ll be home with plenty of time to spare before the clock strikes midnight. Be sure to get your tickets to this incredible musical before they sell out!
