Riley Scanlan(#5), Kellen Hartford(#31), and Chase Hix(#33) play defense against La Salle.

The Wilsonville Wildcats boys basketball team took on the La Salle Falcons Friday night in a much anticipated matchup. The first time the teams played this season the ‘Cats came away with a three point win after being down by six in the fourth quarter.

However, in the first matchup the Wildcats did not have senior Keegan Shivers or junior Cason Dougall. The Wildcats wanted to come out and make a statement after their poor performance at La Salle.

The ‘Cats jumped on the Falcons from the start and dominated them the entire game. Wilsonville ended up taking the win by 26 points as the final score was 67-41.

Following the game against La Salle, the ‘Cats only have four regular season games left. In addition, the ‘Cats are currently 10-0 in league which means they only need two more wins to clinch the Northwest Oregon Conference(NWOC) title.

The Wildcats will aim to keep their hot streak going at home against Scappoose on Tuesday.
