Varsity tennis tryouts commence this upcoming Monday the 2nd, lasting three days, and are followed by JV tryouts from Thursday to Friday.

Coach Fowler expressed that while he looks forward to seeing all of the new students willing to participate, he is plagued by the worry of having lost ten girls since last season. “We have a great group of seniors and girls coming back and they’ll have a big part in bringing together all of the new girls we’re going to have,” remarks Fowler. As far as expectations go, Fowler states “I think we’ll get the season started and see where we end up.”

This upcoming season will be just as exciting as ever, and everyone is encouraged to try out! There is a possibility of having three girls tennis teams, yet that possibility will be solidified once the next week of tryouts are over.
