Maddie Erickson (pictured here in the game against Hillsboro) had another strong night on the mound and at the plate.

The Wilsonville Wildcats Varsity softball team beat the Rex Putnam Kingsmen tonight.

The Wildcats were led by starting pitcher Maddie Erickson, who is committed to Michigan.

She only gave up one run through seven innings pitched, the run was in the first inning and none afterward.

She continued to strike out batters as well as occasionally throwing them out at first. She also took her turns at the plate and in the bottom of the fifth hit an out of the park homerun.

All the players on the team contributed to the win with smart plays and strong hits.

Wilsonville ended up winning 4-1 to keep their amazing season going.
