From left to right, Gilbert Knight, David Burt, Jayden Thiessen and Parker Fish. These athletes have all made major developments and showcased strong performances this year.

Since the Wilsonville invitational we have had two meets, one home and one away, and both continued to display the possibility of state dominance on the boys end.

The most recent meet was away at Rex Putnam High School, and, along with Wilsonville, had the presence of Parkrose High Hchool. The results turned out well: the Wilsonville girls performed great and matched or outperformed their competitors in most events.

What the boys did that day however was overwhelming: winning or dominating almost all of their events, rarely having a Wilsonville athlete finishing 5th or lower out of all the competitors.

The next meet after that was against a rather familiar district competitor, along with a new one. It was the third meet against La Salle Prep and the first time against Hillsboro High School.

The meet showed continuous dominance, besides a narrow victory for the JV girls, showing signs of depth starting to develop out of Hillsboro. Despite this, Wilsonville took home victories in every category.

This Friday are the Twilight relays at Jesuit High School; if you are looking to attend, bring some cash in case there is an entry fee. Details for the meet are on the wilsonvilleathletic.net team page.
