Senior Sign-Off: Natalie Kendig

I was given the opportunity to join Journalism for my senior year of high school. Elated but slightly nervous, I didn’t know what to expect when entering this class; though, it was better than I could have imagined. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

I felt as though I was able to connect not only with the people in the class but also with the entire school community. I am honored that I was able to be a part of such an impactful group of students, who worked to include everyone and everything, all events, and more.

I would like to give a special shout-out to Mr. Fitz, for letting me join the class after walking up to him in the hallway one day during my junior year–even though he had no idea who I was–asking if I could take Journalism II. I appreciate Fitz for being an exceptional teacher, who makes the class more enjoyable and for all the time and effort he puts into journalism.
