The final edition of The Paw Print is HERE!

Aly Johnston, Writer

On May 29th, the final edition of 2018 was distributed to classes around WVHS. Our staff worked tirelessly on editing, formatting and finalizing the newspaper, and we’re all so proud of it.

This year, we have 5 senior staff members graduating: Mary Kimball, Editor in Chief, Allie Forsterer, Student Life section editor, Brandon Kyung, Sports section editor, Siena Dorman, back page editor, and Samantha Monello, our copy editor. Each departing senior wrote a “signing off” piece.

We have a feature piece on this year’s three valedictorians, which is a WVHS first. We also have pieces on Springfest, this year’s court, and their experiences. The Arts and Entertainment section has a fun piece on Mr. Shotola Hardt, our art teacher who was recognized as the NAEA 2018 Pacific Region Secondary Art Educator of the Year.

This edition also features a “ Senior Map” for the first time ever. The Paw Print put out a survey to seniors across the school asking for their future college.

Be sure to pick up this year’s final edition of The Paw Print at WVHS!
