“On like an existential sense of like big things, ice cream. Yes, ice cream. The most important thing. ‘Without ice cream there would be chaos in darkness.’ That is one of my – its my favorite quote. It’s from an old runner.
I mean, there are all the obvious answers of family and friends and all that stuff, but I’m gonna go with ice cream. Everyone smiles at ice cream. Ice cream makes everyone happy. Everyone should have ice cream at least once a week.
Well, it all comes back around because way back when as like a high school and college runner, when you’re running 70 miles a week, ice cream is gold. Like, you, you just like literally can’t stay full. I mean you know, you’re 22. So ice cream was gold.
I mean, I started running in, heck, probably seventh grade and I was good at it. Success is a bit of a drug and it just so fits my personality. I like, I like outside, and I don’t mind work. Like it’s never a chore, running uphill in the snow both ways doesn’t bother me. Actually I like the work.
I would say the meaning of life is hard work. I mean, I’m probably like a level eight introvert outside of school, and most days at home I try to get by with less than 200 words. So I spend most of my time outside, fishing, hiking, kayaking, choring, shoveling, you know, cleaning up after the horses, that kind of thing.
So mostly outside of school I’m outside moving.
Well, I think I’ve probably said enough of my life.”
