“Coming from Germany, the people are very nice and friendly. The sense of community from the relationships made with students, to the friendship and memories students make and engage in. Coming in from a whole different country, leaving my friends and family has been a tough obstacle sometimes, but being in a community where people take you in as their own is very reassuring. A huge difference between Wilsonville from my school in Germany is how much the teachers really care about the students and things going on in their lives, showing the kind teachers we are. Wilsonville cares about its community when it comes to sports and students.”
