“I love schools!  I love working with the students and staff!  I love the community feel!

The Counseling team has influenced me the most!  They are so supportive and helpful! I love working with our students! Helping them navigate the steps toward their goals after high school is incredibly rewarding! I love working one-on-one with students, helping them explore their questions and next steps.

I also enjoy sharing information online so students can access what they need, when they need it. I do not know the impact I’m making, but I hope students know that I’m here for them and dedicated to helping them discover their best future path.

I became super passionate when I was working with our last two College & Career Counselors, Mrs. Tucker and Mrs. Willard, inspired me!  They loved this job!  Their excitement and encouragement was motivating. I worked in the Finance world for 10 years.  I loved it!

Once I had children, I stayed home with them for a number of years. I began working in the school district 16 years ago when my children were young.  I started in primary school and worked there for about 12 years.  As my children got older, I found I was excited to work with older students and loved moving into the library position here at WHS. The move into the College & Career Center has been great!
