His first year at Wilsonville Brady plans to soak in his junior year as much as he can. Brady, coming to Wilsonville from West Linn, did not know what to expect for his first year at Wilsonville.
“Baseball is initially what I transferred for. There was a lot of drama over the summer for West Linn’s baseball program, so this was the easiest way out.”
Wayland adds, “This past summer, I made the decision that I was gonna transfer, but I definitely had some influence deciding why Wilsonville. A couple of my buddies decided to go to Wilsonville, and I was like Why not?”
So far, Brady loves how his experience at Wilsonville in general has been good.
“Honestly, it’s not what I expected. I love it here; everyone here is so friendly and chill. Wayland adds, West Linn and Wilsonville are technically in the same school district, but at the same it feels like they are two polar opposites. I think what Wilsonville brings is more respect. At least for me, here it feels like I don’t have to worry about anything. At West Linn, I guess there was a lot more drama than there should have been. But I love everything about it here.”
