“I have used art as a form of self expression since as far as I can remember back.  Art has never not been a part of my life and I feel like as I grow as a person so does my art.

When creating art, I tend to use graphite and ink, for things like sketches and small projects. When I want to do a big piece I use acrylic paint, which I just recently started using because I am scared of color and scary paint, because it is hard to control.

My experience at Wilsonville high school with art has helped me to find many cool people who share my interest. I’ve made good friends with them, and progressed alongside them which has been fun.

In my AP 2d art class I’ve grown with a similar batch of students, where we all started in a beginner class. Seeing us reach this point together makes me really proud.

I have been with Ms. Factor for 3 years which has been lovely, I thoroughly enjoy the assignments she gives. I feel like they give us a satisfying amount of freedom which I experience even more now in AP art.”
