Poppin’ out

Mary Poppins shows November 6th-8th and 13th-15th!
Jane and Michael's toys come to life to teach them a lesson about kindness. An eerie display of vengeance from the teddy bear to the doll give them a taste of their own medicine.

Mary Poppins features racks on racks on racks of talent, with the remarkable voice of Sydney Cederberg leading the show as Mary Poppins, the practically perfect nanny to Jane (Mia Evans) and Michael Banks (Jack Jensen). The nanny magically appears to help fix the broken home of dismissive George Banks (Axel Lauthner) and the hopeful Winifred Banks (Erin Lauthner).

Weeks of work spent learning music, choreography, cues, and lines. Over 100 students coming together to build a show from scratch. Cast, crew, pit, and more committing hours every day into making something superb–something monumental–something supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Mary Poppins is a beloved book, turned movie, turned musical. The 1964 movie introduced many to its story, a quick classic and beloved film, creating an iconic character and even more iconic silhouette.

Abraham Paykanu plays the character of Bert in Mary Poppins, an abrupt change from his usual life as a WHS band trombone player. Being in the show, he’s been able to “meet a lot of new people. Getting to try out new things, like tap,  I love tappin’.”
