Education First tours are an excellent opportunity to explore another country from an academic perspective. Some Wilsonville High School teachers offer one to two trips each summer that students can go on. Educations First takes students all across the globe to places like Costa Rica, Japan, and France.
The official motto of EF is “Our tours are curated by world travelers and subject matter experts who understand that compelling itineraries should be full of opportunities for experiential learning.”
These tours provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel with your peers and have a hands-on learning experience outside of the classroom. These educational tours provide eye-opening experiences for students to bring these historical events to life.
Education First offers more than just tours. They can give you the opportunity to do a foreign exchange, a gap year abroad, and international boarding school experiences.
EF also holds online classes to learn English, and you can attend one of the 50 EF international language campuses around the world to learn a foreign language. What makes EF tours so special is being able to utilize the language you’ve been learning in school beyond traditional learning spaces.
There are a few tour options available, the easiest being to go with a teacher. However, you can also organize a trip as a parent or traveler!
This summer, Profe Canales and Madame Moehling are going to be hosting another European EF tour. They will be going to France and Spain, similar to the EF tour they hosted in 2024. This Education First tour offers students the opportunity to explore Paris, Provence, Barcelona, and Madrid. Students will get to go to museums, explore the city, and get an in-depth cultural French and Spanish experience.
The opportunity to go on an EF tour will leave you with lifelong friendships, memories, and experiences.
