Lunch reviews with Lucie and Kali: Jamba Juice
This week we’re going to do a little less obvious of a lunch destination but equally as good. If you’re a big breakfast eater or snack throughout the day and just want a little something during lunch, Jamba Juice is the place for you.
First of all, Jamba is one of the closest places you can go during lunch. It’s in the first shopping center on Wilsonville road when you leave the high school. While there is usually limited parking directly in front of Jamba, there is a large parking lot in the surrounding area for the other fast food places and Safeway. Jamba Juice has a wide range of smoothies and bowls that can be healthy and are good. They also have some snacks like granola bars, pretzels, waffles, and juices. So there are a lot of options if you’re looking for something sweet to drink but may not be the best option if you want something substantial to eat.
One downfall of Jamba is that smoothies do take time to make. It isn’t the most popular lunch joint but if a line does form, things can get backed up quickly. The close proximity to the school makes up for the wait time, but you may have to be careful when the weather gets nice and people have a craving for something cool.
