Tonight Wilsonville’s girl’s soccer team put on a magnificent showing against the Sherwood Bowmen. A goalless first half came to a close rather uneventfully, but at the start of the second half, Wilsonville was quick to take possession and maintain it on Sherwood’s side for the majority of the second half.

A series of missed opportunities on the part of Wilsonville resulted in the match ending with a 0-0 score, however not without some backlash from Wilsonville, who seemed to view some of Sherwood’s late-game time-killing methods as less than legal.

Despite the controversial end, both teams put up an excellent showing of athleticism and skill, despite the score not reflecting the passion put forth during the match.
