Wilsonville pulls off an impressive win over 6A Tualatin
Wilsonville girls soccer faced off against 6A Tualatin on Thursday, September 29th. Despite a tough and talented Tualatin team, the Wildcats pulled out an impressive win 2-1.
Tualatin had a tough offense and defense to crack but Wilsonville was able to figure it out and score two goals by senior and Oregon State commit Lindsey Antonson and sophomore Kenley Whittaker.
Antonson tacked on another goal after scoring her 100th, 101st, and 102nd goal in Monday’s matchup versus Liberty. The record for most goals scored by a high school player is 133 goals and Antonson is looking to beat that and set a new record.
Wilsonville girls soccer has looked very strong this year and is expected to dominate the rest of their league games.
The Wildcats play next on Wednesday, October 6th versus La Salle at home at 7:00pm. Good luck Wildcats!
