The best pumpkin patches to visit this year!

Fall time at Bauman’s Farms!

Pumpkin patches seem to be one of the key staples of fall for all ages. The students of Wilsonville High School seem to all be going to at least one throughout this season. From hayrides to apple cider donuts, where is everyone going this year?

One popular recommendation this year is Bauman’s Farms in Gervais, Oregon. The painted hay bales with faces on them are a key part of Bauman’s fall trademark.  Bauman’s offers “amazing pumpkin pie and apple cider donuts,” according to freshman Persia Bowman and Aysha Osorio. They also mentioned how Bauman’s is comforting because it has, “a lot of families gathered around collecting pumpkins for who knows what, as well as performances from dancers and singers!” Aysha has actually performed at Bauman’s in previous years with her dance group, Innovative Dance. Bauman’s Farms sounds like a lot of fun to go check out and get some pumpkins and treats!

Another pumpkin patch that came highly recommended is Lee Farms located in Tualatin, Oregon. Lee Farms’ pumpkin patch offers hayrides and a corn maze! One of the most fun activities, according to sophomore Ezra Oesterreich, was “The corn maze was super fun because it felt like it was never-ending and it was super dark.” Ezra mentioned that Lee’s has plenty of food options as well including, “They have these famous pumpkin donuts and fresh apple cider that I would 10/10 recommend.” Some students from Wilsonville work at Lee’s so make sure to take some time to stop by!

Don’t forget to get your pumpkins and fall vibes before the season is over! Lee Farms and Bauman’s have plenty of fun activities and beautiful scenery for everyone to enjoy. Happy spooky season!
