With Wilsonville coming into the series with a 5-1 record and the La Salle Falcons coming in with a 3-5 record both teams wanted wins to have better standings in the NWOC. The fierce rivals never want to miss an opportunity to stick a tough loss to one another.

In the first game of the series Wilsonville beat La Salle in dramatic fashion with infielder Matthew Gomez walking off the Falcons and taking the first game of the series 4-3.  The second game of the series was at La Salle as the Falcons exacted there revenge beating Wilsonville in dominating fashion 7-1. With the series tied at 1 win a piece both teams are hungry for a series victory.

Keenan Sanford had this to say about the first couple games of the series ” In game one on the pitching side of things we were really in tune and in game two the offense struggled and didn’t come alive.” The final game of the series takes place in La Salle, With the 19th rank in 5a La Salle looks to make their rating better tremendously with a win over Wilsonville.
