One of the exciting events here at Wilsonville .

As a part of Springfest this year, the carnival was one of the activities that the community could participate in. Members of the Leadership II class, as well as the Springfest court, volunteered together to raise money for the cause of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Instagram posts and stories shared across many platforms spread the word of this exciting event.

The turnout was great among the students within the high school but the word wasn’t spread to many members of the community. The booths included musical chairs, face painting,  yard games and sack race.

The carnival cost five dollars to get in, and then buyers were able to go to any of the booths. Senior Alyssa Sun said, “It was great to see many of our classmates coming to support a cause.” If community members weren’t able to participate, hopefully another fun carnival will be scheduled.
