Northwest Oregon Conference Choir
This past week the band choir and orchestra have all participated in the NWOC league competitions to see if they qualify for state. The choir has been practicing for weeks for this big competition; many days they’ve spent perfecting their pieces and practicing sight reading.
Each area is scored based upon certain criteria. The Wilsonville High School Symphonic choir scored third overall meaning that they have state qualifying scores but due to the qualification process only the top choir is currently going to state. Our choir’s performance tapes will be put within a pool of other tapes and hopefully will be picked to go to state.
The choir will continue to await the news and they will continue to diligently practice for the hope that they will go to state. They will also practice for their last choir concert later to come this year.
