Wilsonville volleyball stays hot, beating Milwaukie
Wilsonville keeps dominating the other teams in the NWOC, Milwaukie was just another team in the way of the ultimate goal.
The Wilsonville volleyball team has been on a roll, and after beating Hood River last week, Wilsonville traveled to the brick oven in La Salle and beat the Falcons. Before that La Salle had not lost a volleyball game at home in 4 years. Those are just a couple of the examples that show that this year’s Wilsonville volleyball team is a force to be reckoned with.
Yet again they faced a league opponent, this time the visiting the Milwaukie Mustangs. Like Hood River and La Salle, Milwaukie barely stood a chance against the Wildcats. Wilsonville dominated from start to finish, winning the first set 25-10. The second set was much of the same, with Wilsonville taking it 25-15, however, Wilsonville might have saved their best played set for last. Wilsonville finished off the Mustangs in the third set by a score of 25-9.
Milwaukie, who has not won a game all year, took yet another blow as they tried to bounce back against Hilsboro on Thursday. On the Wilsonville side the Wildcats stay undefeated and remain the #1 ranked team in the state. Wilsonville looks to keep rolling the league competition as they play Parkrose on Wednesday.
Wilsonville has had a great season so far and look to continue their run of dominance– after losing in the state championship the Cats looks to get back to the big game and come out on top in 2022.
