Some seasonal candies are the best; the delicious, sweetened taste of candy is lovable by many students, especially during Halloween. Junior Grayson Atwood says “I like Twix the most.” Twix, both caramel and chocolate together, is a combination to be reckoned with. 

However, there are other favorite candies other than the typical chocolate, such as Skittles, Swedish Fish, and licorice. But hearing students say their favorite candy is “Skittles or licorice” is far less likely than the OG chocolate candies like Twix. Twix is arguably one of the top contenders for the category of best chocolate candy.    

“My favorite candy is Twix,” says Sophomore Ronak Sameer-Asita. That is miraculously already two students at WVHS saying their favorite candy is Twix. Perhaps the Halloween candy of the year will be Twix due to its popularity, or maybe it was just a coincidence to get the same answers in a row. 

Next Halloween year, maybe we can dig deeper and find what the real dominant candy is. But it definitely will not be licorice because licorice can never top chocolate.
