Emily Barry takes on D.C
Spring is a stressful time for seniors. While juniors will use this time to tour colleges they think they may be interested in applying to, seniors are scrambling to make their final college decision as the May 1st deadline looms.
When picking a college there is so much that students have to consider including, cost, size, majors, and location. Narrowing down and comparing each school can be the most complicated process for anyone going. Picking a college always comes down to preference and the overall experience you want for yourself.
Emily Barry, a senior at WVHS and staff writer for WBN has a big decision ahead of her. She is currently trying to choose between Pepperdine, the University of Minnesota, and American University. Barry plans on majoring in political science in hopes of becoming a lawyer. She explained, “I want to make a difference in people’s lives.” Some may say her choices are polar opposites, considering that each of those colleges is in different parts of the country.
Barry will take viewers along with her touring Washington D.C. and visiting the campus of American University.
No matter where she decides to go, everyone in WBN is so proud of her and can’t wait to see what she does in the future!
