Wilsonville is home to neat, turf diamonds, well-maintained fields, and stands that hold cheering supporters. Rain or shine, the outside areas of the High School are always bustling with activity and competition.

Lake Oswego sweeps Wilsonville 15:1 in a home-game matchup

Although there have been many successes throughout the season, Wilsonville has also faced tough competitors. Lake Oswego, in particular, is a notorious rival for Wilsonville’s lacrosse, yet the Wildcats always head into the first quarter eager to play tough. A minute and thirty into the first quarter, Lake Oswego had proven their dominance by catching the Wildcats at the defensive border and getting many stops. With a minute and forty left in the first half, a timeout was called by the home team since the score at that point was 5:0, Lake Oswego. By halftime, Kate Kleinke had scored Wilsonville’s first and only goal against the Lakers. Even though the Cats weren’t able to come out on top, the camaraderie and sportsmanship soared, giving Wilsonville a clean reputation among competitors as fun, hustling rivals.
