Welcome to Through the Net podcast! Co-hosts Jonah Sandall and John D’Souza go in-depth when it comes to basketball analysis. As avid Blazers fanatics, Sandall and D’Souza are enthusiastic about the 2024-25 Trail Blazers’ season. Portland is still early in the post-Damian Lillard era with a young team led by budding star Anfernee Simons and second year Scoot Henderson. 

Wilsonville Basketball is coming off a strong season last year that saw Wilsonville make it to the State Championship. This season, the team will be looking for their third 5A championship title in 4 years, and will find new stars after the graduation of Kyle Counts and Kallen Gutridge.

This upcoming podcast season will see an increase in the number of guest hosts and an expansion of sports topics outside of the basketball realm. Through the Net will include occasional episodes about MLB and NFL news by Jonah Sandall and rotating guest hosts!

NFL Special: Preseason Predictions

In this episode, Jonah, along with Seniors, Logan Hutchinson and Sean Sype, talk about how they see the 24-25 NFL season shaping out. They go over how they see each division shaping out, who will win MVP and a couple other major awards, and of course, who will be playing February football for the Lombardi Trophy.

John and Jonah talk about the upcoming NBA season, and where each team will finish in their conference’s standings.
