“My classes are very flexible at home so getting to take a class at the high school is nice to get to know more people and get some more credits I need for college. At home, I get to pick my schedule which can be tricky sometimes, at home I’ve enjoyed my teacher but the class size dictates the pace often, so it’s more time-consuming. I didn’t know a lot of people at the high school but I felt welcomed by everyone on the football and lacrosse teams that I played on, however, the season is tough because when you come back after it feels like starting over with some teammates that you haven’t seen in a while because you’re recognized but since I don’t go to the school full time it’s hard to make those connections that most people on the team that go to the school already have.”
