“Freshman year: I thought it was pretty stressful coming into high school and seeing new faces. But baseball is baseball, and at the end of the day, it’s a fun sport that I love to play. Freshman year made me realize how much more I had to work to be able to compete with athletes who have been in the program for years. Finally making it on Varsity was a major confidence boost. I got called up halfway through the season, and from there, I started right away. I realized that all my hard work paid off and not only that, but I needed to keep improving so that hopefully colleges would start to reach out and continue my dream of wanting to play Division One baseball. This program has helped bring exposure, but also some of the most fun baseball I’ve played. Everybody on the team is awesome, and they make it so fun to come back every year and compete.”
