“I’ve lived in Wilsonville since third grade, so I’m not doing that math on how long I’ve been here.
I play softball and am part of theater and choir here at Wilsonville, I have a fairly full plate but I enjoy that I think it’s good to have things to do and being involved.
When there’s a musical it can be a lot more stressful with mixes of acting, singing, costumes you find yourself not going home until ten sometimes, and I do a capella as well needing to be here at 7:30 in the morning which can be a bit much.
My biggest advice for high schoolers getting involved is it’s okay to have a full plate and it’s good to be involved in things at school but you need to know your priorities. Know what needs to be done first and needs the most effort but most of all always care for yourself first and you are your first priority”
