“The summer between 8th grade and my freshman year I was going to try out for the dance team because I had already danced for 6 years and then my mom was like “You should try out for volleyball.” Then I tried out for volleyball and I never looked back.
When we have our youth night, it’s fun playing in front of the kids to help get them interested in the sport and representing our school spirit through volleyball. One piece of advice I would give is to not take things for granted. Every experience people will focus on the negative, like if something bad happens to you then you like focus on that, but and you can always focus on the good and you can always learn from it and grow from it and just use it to become a better person instead of focusing on the bad that happened.”
