“I lived in a really small town growing up, Klamath, Oregon.
My elementary school was very small. We only had one grade level per class and my classes only had like 14 or 15 kids. But it was really cool. I loved all of my teachers. And I think that that’s why I wanted to become a teacher.
I want to just continue to keep having kids be excited about working with students, seeing a bigger picture. I feel like they kind of look beyond just themselves and look at how they can help other people and inspire young children. And I think they gain a lot of really strong life skills that they’ll use in the future.”
