Proposal of the year
As we come up upon the homecoming dance everyone is rushing to not only find their dresses or what group they are going to go with, but how they are going to ask their dates. In the past years there have been many great homecoming proposals. We’ve seen “HOCO” light up the night in candles, and of course the usual posters with a teddy bear as a souvenir. And as everyone is hopefully trying to be a little more creative than the previous year, senior Cooper Mootz has definitely stepped up his game. From knocking on his girlfriends door with flowers and balloons, to asking his girlfriend to this years homecoming in front of the whole school. It’s been 1,460 days, 48 months or 4 years of dating as Cooper told us in the assembly on friday and him and his girlfriend Marri McCallum made it to every homecoming of high school together. Not only was it really “nerve racking to speak in the assembly” Cooper tells me, however he also set the bar pretty high for future homecoming proposals. So will someone out do Coopers for winter formal or prom? Or will Coopers math skills of how many days are in four years be one of the best proposals our cats have seen in awhile?
