Among the top players in the first half were Milwaukie’s Juan Duran on defense, and Wilsonville’s Angel Romero on strong offense.

Antonio Cuevas scored the first goal of the evening for Milwaukie.  Evan McClelland scored an amazing goal off a throw-in late in the first half.

Zach Brehm played a tough defense with some amazing saves, supported by the Cats’ strong defense.

The score was 2-0, Milwaukie,  at the half.

Wilsonville brought the fight to the Mustangs in the second half and had more consistent possession of the ball.

Angel Romero made a beautiful shot on goal early in the second half.  Later, Adam Landy missed a shot by a matter of inches.

Alexander Valyavskiy scored the Mustang’s final goal of the game.

Wilsonville scored both their goals within a minute of each other late in the second half.   Samuel Blohn and Angel Romero put the Cats on the board.

The Cats kept the pressure on through the end of the game but just couldn’t come up with the W.

The Cats take to the road for their next two games.  Join us again for live coverage on October 17th as the Wildcats take on the St. Helens Lions.
