A look ahead at April
April is finally upon us. We’re a quarter of the way through the year, and it’s starting to pick up. It’s common knowledge that spring is one of the busiest and most stressful times of the year, especially for high schoolers. There’s a lot happening this month, so be sure to stay organized. If you start to feel overwhelmed, just keep in mind that there’s only 50 school days left – and counting!
Friday, April 5th – Last day of the quarter. Make sure all your late work is turned in!
Friday, April 5th – Registration deadline for the May 4th SAT.
Monday, April 8th – No school!
Tuesday, April 9th – NWOC Orchestra Festival at Wilsonville, 12:30 – 3:00.
Wednesday, April 10th – NWOC Choir Festival at St. Helens, 9:45 – 3:00.
Thursday, April 11th – NWOC Band Festival at Hillsboro, 9:00 – 3:00.
April 11th-13th – Model United Nations field trip to U of O for the conference.
Friday, April 12th – State ISEF field trip.
Saturday, April 13th – ACT test date.
Saturday, April 13th – Prom! 7:30 – 10:30 PM at the Oregon Zoo Ballroom.
Thursday, April 18th – Blood drive.
April 22nd-24th – Springfest voting period.
Wednesday, April 24th – Late registration deadline for the May 4th SAT. Late fee required.
Wednesday, April 24th – Early release day – school gets out at 12:30.
Friday, April 26th – Springfest! 7:30 PM in the gym.
