The boys tennis team has been very successful the past couple years and this year they are starting to make either mark for the 2019 season. Last year they had many players on 1st and 2nd team all league. Those players included Jack Roche, Zach Brehm, Nathan Ogden, and Mohammad Hassan. All players came back this year except for one and they hope to make a big impact on this season!

Last week, our boys tennis team had a meet against West Salem. They lost total matches 6-2. The two wins were from Jack Roche at #1 singles and Hugo Romero at #4 singles.

Their meet yesterday against Hillsboro was a great success. 8 out of the 9 matches won. Thursday, April 11th, the team will have a meet at home against St. Helens if it doesn’t get canceled due to rain.

The boys tennis team will have a tournament at Newberg this weekend. Let’s cheer on and support these Wildcats as they advance in their season.
