For many, a staple of spooky season is going to haunted houses. While some don’t understand why anyone would pay money for a high schooler in a Jason costume with a plastic chainsaw to jump out at them, many find the experience fun and exciting. Haunted houses are great attractions during the month of October, and make for a great place to go to hang out with your friends and have fun. One of the more popular haunted houses among Wilsonville High students is Milburn’s Haunted Manor in Portland. Casey Young, a senior at WVHS, who has gone to haunted houses every year of highschool says that “Milburn’s is one of the best haunted houses in the area and one of my favorites that I’ve been to.” He also says he would recommend going to a haunted house or two next Autumn when they open up again. So whether you’re looking for a fun thing to do during the weekend or you don’t have plans, consider making a trip to a haunted house with your friends, you won’t regret it and the memories will last a life time.
