Spring Break is a time of relaxation and freedom from school. However, this year students may not be free from everything. CoronaVirus is putting a halt on many students’ sun-filled journeys. The CoronaVirus may be a growing pandemic but it is not necessarily stopping all students from venturing out. Junior soccer star Adam Landy is hopping down to southern California to look at potential college opportunities. Landy will be visiting both San Diego State and Point Loma. Landy had a terrific junior season scoring 18 goals and helping his team reach the state final. When I asked Landy about his thoughts on the trip he stated, “ I’m very excited about the opportunity to visit schools. I am excited that coaches have seen potential in me and are working to help my dream of playing soccer come true.”

Keegan Shivers senior at Wilsonville Highschool will be going to Hawaii during spring break. I asked Keegan how he feels about traveling with the coronavirus becoming such an issue, “I’m just hoping not to get sick. But I’m still excited to go to Hawaii.” It will be very interesting to see the change of plans for students going into the break. The school has already announced an extra-long
