On Wednesday April 15th, senior Ryan McCord committed to play soccer to Chaminade University of Honolulu. McCord, a 4 year varsity soccer player, has hoped to play the sport beyond high school from a young age.

“Ever since I’ve been a young kid, I’ve wanted to play soccer at the next level and I’m thankful that Coach Paul Shimomoto gave me this opportunity.”
Chaminade University of Honolulu, at Division II school located in Hawaii, reached out to McCord at the beginning of the year. 

“Coach reached out around the beginning of this year. I decided I was going to play at Chaminade two weeks before I signed.” McCord says.

McCord has played outside back for the Wildcats, and hopes to continue in that position for Chaminade in the fall.
